(WNCN) — Microchips help reunite lost pets with their owners all the time, but when a Fuquay-Varina veterinarian recently scanned a cat brought into the office, he couldn't believe what he saw or the story behind it.Bob, the cat, is getting the star treatment at 5-Points Animal Hospital in Fuquay-Varina. His journey to 5-Points didn't seem remarkable at first."One of our clients, who has his pets coming here, had Bob living on his porch for a while and thought 'I should probably bring him in and see if he's owned by anybody,'" recalled veterinarian, Dr. Kevin Wilson. LIMESTONE, Tenn. (WJHL) – One of the world's rarest giraffes, which was born in July at the Brights Zoo in Tennessee, has been named Kipekee.The name, meaning unique in Swahili, was revealed Monday morning on the "Today" show. According to Brights Zoo, giraffe experts believe Kipekee is the only solid-color reticulated giraffe living anywhere on the planet. AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Tournament Point boat ramp at Pace Bend Park will close Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. due to low water levels at Lake Travis, according to the Travis County Twitter.Furthermore, Travis County said the boat ramp will open when the lake level is at or below 631 feet. JewBelong, a nonprofit that aims to make Judaism accessible and fight antisemitism, has put up billboards with four new messages around the St. Louis region. A driver and passenger were killed in an apparent street race when their vehicle crashed into a firetruck, injuring four crewmembers, in West Compton Tuesday.The crash was reported around 12:30 a.m. as the engine company was responding to a medical incident, Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesperson Craig Little said.
