Deputy shot, suspect killed in Adams County DENVER (KDVR) — A deputy was shot and a suspect was killed Wednesday night in Adams County.The scene was near West 81st Avenue and Leona Drive, northwest of Interstate 25 and U.S. 36. "The suspect exited the house with a firearm and there was an exchange of gunfire. Homes feared destroyed by wildfire burning out of control on Australian city of Perth’s fringe PERTH, Australia (AP) — A wildfire burning out of control on the outskirts of the Australian west coast city of Perth on Thursday appeared to have destroyed or damaged a number of homes.An emergency warning was issued for the eastern suburb of Parkerville where the fire started on Thursday morning.
