NEW YORK (AP) — FedEx will combine almost all of its ground, air and other operations by next year as part of a $4 billion cost cutting plan.The package delivery company said Wednesday that FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, FedEx Services and other FedEx operating companies will be rolled into a single entity by June 2024 in a companywide reorganization. FedEx Freight, the company’s freight transportation services division, will continue as a stand-alone company within Federal Express Corp. Raj Subramaniam will serve as president and CEO of the combined organization. John Smith will become president and CEO of U.S. and Canada ground operations at FedEx Express and assume leadership of surface operations across the FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, and FedEx Freight businesses. ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — Deputies in Adams County were involved in a shooting with a suspect who allegedly shot and injured a woman at a nearby apartment. According to the Adams County Sheriff's Office, both east and westbound Highway 36 were closed from Federal Boulevard to Sheridan Boulevard due to a shooting investigation. Eastbound was reopened at around 6:30 a.m. and westbound was open at 7:30 a.m.ACSO told FOX31's Jim Hooley that deputies originally received a call for a gunshot victim at an apartment complex off Pecos. The female victim was transported to a local hospital where she is currently in intensive care. When deputies arrived on scene, the suspect drove by and deputies began to pursue the car. BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) – A man is being hailed a hero after risking his life to save a stranger who was trapped in a burning car in Boynton Beach. Leo Zupo was making his way home Saturday when he came across a crash at a Boynton Beach and Lawrence Road intersection and noticed a woman inside a vehicle unable to get out. Boston Police arrested a suspect on the BPD Most Wanted List Tuesday evening. Officers arrested 62-year-old Richard Morse around 6:30 p.m. in the area of 25 Parmenter Street, according to police. (CNN) — Fox News said in a court filing Tuesday that it plans to put some of its most prominent executives and TV hosts on the witness stand to testify as part of its defense in the Dominion defamation trial.The right-wing network told the judge it “intends to make available” these people to testify in-person.
