TMZ characterized Aaron Rodgers’ joke about Travis Kelce and his Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine commercial as a “playful jab,” but one would think that the media-savvy New York Jets quarterback would be aware that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his rumored girlfriend Taylor Swift have been on the receiving end of vicious, vaccine-related attacks after she cheered him on at his past two games. It also would seem that Rodgers would be particularly attuned to the heated rhetoric used by COVID-19 skeptics, since he’s a well-known vaccine skeptic himself.EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY – OCTOBER 01: Injured Aaron Rodgers #8 of the New York Jets looks on prior to the game against the Kansas City Chiefs at MetLife Stadium on October 01, 2023 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The flight to suburbs and gated communities continues. Too many hours are spent at work, commuting and on social media. The complaints about downtown are a symptom of our changing society. People find themselves isolated from other people including their own families and neighbors.Since Oakland was mentioned prominently in the article I will give a shout-out to “Friday Nights at OMCA.” I stumbled upon it after visiting the Oakland Museum of California one Friday before the pandemic and am glad to see that it is still operational. Food trucks are also used where I live for “Fremont Street Eats,” also on Friday nights. Basically street parties with food and live entertainment.Start small and be inclusive.Richard Jo...Hunter Biden pleads not guilty to federal gun charges

SAN JOSE – Forward Mikael Granlund was injured just a few days after training camp began but appears to be on track to play in the San Jose Sharks’ season opener next week, a good sign for a team that might have to start the year without Logan Couture.Granlund was a full participant in practice Tuesday, one week after he said he “tweaked” something in the morning skate prior to the Sharks’ Sept. 26 game at home against the Anaheim Ducks. Granlund practiced for about 30 minutes two days later and has been regularly skating ever since. The Sharks need all the center depth they can get with Couture out with a lower-body injury and not expected to skate again until later this week or early next week. Sharks coach David Quinn said Couture had another positive day Tuesday with no setbacks but has mentioned previously that everyone involved will take a cautious approach with the captain’s NHL return.Granlund would appear to be the Sharks’ best option to take over the second-line center posi...Kerr announces who will start for Draymond Green when Warriors face Lakers

They’ll start the first game and we’ll see after that.”The preseason starting five won’t be set in stone moving forward, but it’ll give the Warriors a look at how Paul plays alongside Curry. The lineup is small with Thompson effectively sliding into a forward position, as he did at times last year. Paul will take on Green’s role as a passer to find Curry and Thompson off-ball.R...Driverless Cruise vehicle's cameras recorded moment woman was struck in San Francisco
